Recently my friend Oscar had created a blog and proudly shared the link with me. Though blogs had been existent years back, we are just contented to reading someone’s else input to a variety of topics “anything under the sun”. Well, I must admit that Oscar’s blog inspired me to create one for myself, thanks Oscar! Surprisingly huh! It’s because I’m not a type of person to open my private matters into the world, I’m still the same, I just decided to create this blog to satisfy myself and would update it whenever I want to and feel there’s a need to share.
This time I want to honor Oscar for being my friend and instilling some influences in me by sharing his healthy habits and seeing his way of life. Maybe, it’s because I started feeling the aging process that’s why I get to notice this habit like drinking green tea, and the use of vitamin C, E and Omega-3. We are getting sad every time we hears people we knew younger than us hospitalized due to stroke. That’s why he’s promoting drinking green tea whenever he will get the opportunity to do so; to his friends, officemates, and simply acquaintances, don’t get him wrong that he earns from this, he’s just happy to share this good way of life.
Most of our bonding moments happened either in my pad and/or most of the time in his Moroccan inspired bachelor’s pad with either only both of us or with some invited friends. This will always start from a sumptuous meal followed by movie viewing. He’s kind of a good cook, well not when he’s not inspired, but he’s a winner when it comes to presentation and giving it a very unique and delectable name. Enough for you to look forward what it look and taste like. Sometimes, we pass the hour by simply analyzing things around us, injecting funny antics, while listening to his wide selection of MP3 songs.
Another good trait of Oscar is his love of reading. He always has a desire to read and learn new things every time and especially during solitary times. It’s evident in the way he talks and shares his wit and knowledge. Name a subject and he has something to say. He loves giving advice to people, especially younger ones, as their learning opportunities for career growth or personal safety and security.
I have yet to mention a lot of things about him, right now, it’s simply my way of saying, THANK YOU & EID MUBARAK! Hope this friendship last with no boundaries.
